Saturday, September 18th our very own Dan Miller will be leading a training ride from Mesa Cycles at 8am for a hour ride through Forest Park. This is a great opportunity to ride in a group and get some miles in before the event if you plan on attending. Additionally, he will do a flat fix clinic following the ride.
The time is drawing near. You can hear the leaves rustling, or maybe it’s your leg twitch as you sit at your computer just itching to go to Potosi.
If you’ve not been wrangled into attending this epic MTB race/party, make 2010 your year. In it’s 11th year, it takes over the Council Bluff singletrack (just south of Potosi, Missouri) for the duration of the race 12-hour race. Plenty of schwag and prizes, along with the usual camp atmosphere round out the weekend.
Emporia, Kansas I’ve been riding/racing since 1974 and this race was by far the toughest. Over 200 miles of gravel, dirt, mud, suffering and pain. With steady winds, heat (over 97d) and no cover Kansas can be sooo unforgiving. Perhaps that’s why the early pioneers preferred to continue past Kansas and seek more humane conditions [...]
This past weekend three members of the U23 Team headed down to Fayetteville, Arkansas for the Joe Martin Stage Race. Matt Pence, Alex Grman and Martin Lang made the trip down, with Matt Brandt at Collegiate Nationals and Zack Stein still finishing up school in Colorado. TdF Viewing Party / Saturday, July 24 / 2010. The Time Trial Stage. We’re giving our own tribute to the Tour by running Goldsprints, noshing brats and drinking some local brew. Come for the viewing, raffles and special evening pricing.
